Farmer’s Markets
Farmer’s Markets area great way for small and new ag entrepreneur’s to reach customers and dip their toe into starting a business. Rusk County is fortunate to have two outstanding markets. One is located in Ladysmith and runs on Wednesday afternoons from 12pm-4pm, and Saturday mornings from 8:30am-12pm from the second week in June through October. The other market is located in Bruce and runs on Friday afternoons from 12-5pm, June-October. Both have market managers and are guided by the vendors.
If you are looking to start selling your own vegetables, fruit, or other farm products this is a great way to do so. The market vendors sell everything from produce to honey, meat, flowers, and baked goods.
