Rusk County Farmland Preservation Intern

Rusk County is accepting applications for a limited term Intern to work in our Land Conservation and Development Department during the summer of 2017. This position will assist in updating Rusk County’s Farmland Preservation Plan (FPP) to provide a vision and guidelines for future growth, development and land preservation in the County. The FPP functions as the primary policy document to set forth direction for how the County intends to preserve agricultural production capacity, farmland, soil and water resources and rural character.  More Info

Rusk County GIS Intern

Rusk County is accepting applications for a limited term Intern to work in our Land Conservation and Development Department during the summer of 2017. This position performs technical services for the Rusk County Land Conservation and Development including data collection of address points and road centerlines by utilizing GPS. The intern in this position also performs routine and entry level technical GIS work on the computer. More Info

Rusk County Parks/Forestry Intern

Rusk County is accepting applications and resumes for a Part-time Parks/Forestry intern to work in our Forestry Department. Responsibilities include: Assist in the general maintenance of the County’s parks, campgrounds and trails. Assist in the Administration of the County’s campgrounds. More info.
